TCU Foundation: $13,875 grant awarded to Five Star Life

Teachers Credit Union Foundation announces it has awarded a $13,875 grant to 5 Star Life, an Elkhart based not-for-profit youth character and leadership development organization.

Evansville Teachers FCU filled a void for Youth First, Inc. on Wednesday, June 25th. Youth First, Inc. held an event titled “Stuff a Caddy for Kids”, linked with the United Leasing Golf Tournament as well as the Wives of the Web.com Tour Pros. Raising over $1,000 for the nonprofit!

FORUM Credit Union’s Spirit Advisory Council has partnered with Prevail, Inc. as part of its ongoing efforts to facilitate community partnerships that positively contribute to the well-being of the community.

Chiphone employees donated $500 to the Wellfield Botanic Gardens in Elkhart.

Via CU: More than $2,000 worth of items donated to school nurses

This year, Via CU was able to provide area school nurses with more than $2,000 worth of items such as lice shampoo, clothing and personal hygiene items. In addition, an anonymous Via CU member donated homemade hats and gloves.

Purdue FCU: $2,660 donation to benefit Home with Hope, Inc.

Purdue FCU recently donated $2,660 to Home with Hope, Inc. to help with electrical upgrades to its facility. Home with Hope, Inc. provides structured living and transitional services for those committed to the Twelve Step recovery program.

Members Advantage CU: Two $1,000 scholarships awarded

Members Advantage CU has awarded two $1,000 college scholarships to area high school seniors: Luke Latchford and Jessica Reason. Latchford, who is graduating from Michigan City H.S., received the Leona Bruno Scholarship; Westville H.S. senior Jessica Reason received the Gail Walker Scholarship.
